Job Description: Analyzes and evaluates major system project requirements of considerable complexity requiring a thorough understanding of all parameters affecting and interfacing with the system. Prepares charts and diagrams in relationship to problem analysis and submits recommendations for solutions. Analyzes alternative means of deriving input data to select the most accurate, feasible and economical methods. Defines input and output file specifications, including file organization. Prepares detailed program specifications and flowcharts, and coordinates the system’s installation with the user department, ensuring satisfactory results. Formulates logical statements of user requirements and develops solutions through application of systems and methods engineering and techniques. May provide work leadership to lower level employees.
